6. Terraced fields in Sapa
Sapa is a small town in the Northwest of Vietnam. This place has tons of beautiful terraced fields, all the way up to the sky like stairs to heaven. With a beautiful and romantic nature, the mysterious love markets and many various kinds of cuisine, Sapa “charmed” every tourist who came here even for the 1st time.
In 2009, Travel and Leisure Magazine ( USA) had chosen the terraced fields in Sapa to be one of the most beautiful and grand terraced fields all around Asia and the world. In December 2011, Lovelyplanet (UK) has introduced the place “Sapa is one of the top 10 best destinations around the world for jogging”. November 2013, The Department of Culture and Sports in Vietnam has listed the terraced fields in Sapa as one of national heritage attractions.
7. Mui Ne
Mui Ne is one of the best centers for tourists in Central Vietnam. This place is 22km away from the Northeast of Phan Thiet city ( of Binh Thuan province). It has a wild and long sea coast with the red sand hills that are identical to a desert and fishing villages that have not changed since ancient times.
Mui Ne also attracts tourists because it has a diversity in history and culture that belongs to different races like Kinh, Cham, Hoa. The most notables one are Cham tower, Nuoc tower, Ong Pagoda, Thien Hau pagoda and many other relics that have a huge value in culture, history, and tourism.
8. Mekong Delta
Part of the Delta of Mekong river also called Northern Plain or Southwest Region, this place has the total area of 40.548,2 km2. Because of the long coast and the facts that Mekong river is split into small brands, canals, Isle island, island and archipelago, this place is extremely suitable for ecological tourism combined with experiencing and adventuring.
Coming to Mekong Delta, apart from visiting the huge fruit gardens, you should try walking on one of the 9 brands of a huge river that pours into the sea, listening to “Don ca tai tu” (a traditional music of the Central Vietnam) and visiting the floating market, one of the unique things belong to this place.
9. Cu Chi tunnel
Cu Chi tunnel is a defense system that is under the ground of Cu Chi District, also known as “The land of steel”. This place is 70km away due to the northwest of Ho Chi Minh city. This system was established by National Front for Liberation of South Vietnam during the time of Indo-China war and Vietnam war.
This is a unique tunnel that is deep on the ground, has many levels, alleys and lanes (almost like a spider web) and is almost 200km long. This is the place where Vietnam soldiers ate, slept, gathered and fought during the war. This place has 3 differents levels, the upper level is about 3m below the ground, the central level is 6m and the under level is 12m. Nowadays, this place was approved by the Government as one of the National historical relics.
10. Nha Trang
Nha Trang is a city closest to the sea and the center of politics, economy, culture, and tourism of Khanh Hoa province (South Vietnam). This place also is famous for bird’s nest, one of the cuisines that were used by ancient royal figures in Vietnam because it is extremely nutritious.
Nha Trang is also known as “The Pearl of Far East”. This place has an extremely clean and cool nature with lots of white sand coast, islands, a diverse coral ecological system. It also has lots of ancient Cham temples, quiet museums.
